Why are you linking to Sandra Rose of all sites? Sandra Rose throws around negativity all over her site. Everyone has the right to free speech; I just expect you all to reinforce the positive blogs out there… the blogs about black love rather than black hate….

  2. Jasmine Jasmine says:

The people at Clutch are human. Stop trying to make them non-human. They can read gossip sites. Oh lord!

Look at the other links too!

  3. 05girl 05girl says:

@Jasmine. I don’t have a problem with gossip sites. It’s the fact that they are basically supporting (by linking) Sandra Rose. I kind of think in the blogosphere, who you link to is kind of like who your friends are; your friends reflect you and so do your links…

    • Dede Sutton Dede Sutton says:

This is Dede (the founder) from Clutch and I made the list. I have to agree with Jasmine. I am (just turned) 30 years old and I read a lot of stuff online. Also, I live in Atlanta and I read Sandra Rose daily. I am very complex and I like a little bit of everything to keep me in the loop. I don’t find any issue with linking to her — as the topic of the column is what we are reading and I was reading Sandra Rose yesterday.

I really hope people know we are young, diverse here and have the right to like or read or link to whatever. I for one hate it when people try to put me and Clutch in a box and try to say we shouldn’t or why we do this and that, because we have done nothing but try to present positive content and images to our audience.

Also know just because I read Sandra Rose and Bossip – does not make me a negative person or has anything to do with what we present or believe on Clutch.

I would hope you would concentrate/consider all the rest of the great links I posted instead of one link.

FYI: We will be linking to all types of sites and some you may and may not like – but it is what we are reading.

  4. Virgina Virgina says:

Because you linked to one article on SR she is getting mad and questioning your mission? Clutch read and link to what you want! You are grown! You do nothing but be positive and be real reps for young black women.

  5. lish lish says:

Yes 05girl I haven’t seen you commenting on some of the more serious topics on this site. Dede made a good point many worthwhile articles go without notice on this site. Clutch provides us with it all. Keep up the good work Clutch I will always have love for you guys!

  6. Just to add to the conversation, I first learned of quite a of the hottest, most diverse blogs on the blogosphere through Clutch’s Blog Index. Clutch, do what you do!

  7. Loquacious_ Loquacious_ says:

Loves Racialicious. Clutch, you should check out Rhymeswithsnitch, Afrobella and CurlyNikki. NecoleBitchie has been slipping lately, but she is entertaining at times too. Can’t get down with Sandra Rose, she is too negative for me. But, I like the list all the same.

On another note- I LOVE THAT MODEL’S HAIR! Thanks for using that picture. She and her hair are FABULOUS!

  8. Clutch Magazine Clutch says:

Hi Loquacious – she’s not a model that’s our girl Andrea from Fly! Check her out! Thanks for the recommendations – we frequent (and love) all the sites you mentioned :)

  9. Lish Lish says:

honestly I must confess I was staring at her hair for a min before reading the list lol. I want my hair to look like that…BEAUTIFUL!
