At the young age of fifteen, Antoinette knew design was her future. Expressing herself through her clothing; she learned to sew and quickly began designing accessories and clothing of her own.
She pursued her love for design and in 2001 became an Apparel Design graduate. Soon after, Antoinette headed to New York City to start her design career. After working in the fashion industry for close to five years, she finally felt it was the right time to branch out and create a line of her own. Soon after in 2005, Antoinette Lee Designs was born.
“Handbags are a reflection of a woman’s identity,” she says. This view developed into a desire to design handbags; to be a part of representing personal style and individuality. Her inspiration for designs range from her everyday experiences in New York City, to naming her most favorite pieces after her two dogs Dolce & Vita (Dolce bag coming soon!) Her collections represent fashionable yet functional handbags that are ultimately unforgettable.
Each handbag is crafted in New York City with careful detail and workmanship. Antoinette’s collections are increasingly becoming a popular favorite and have been featured in such publications as InStyle, Daily Candy, and many others. Antoinette Lee Designs is looking forward to contributing her one-of-a-kind designs to stylish, fashion-forward women everywhere!
