Not cool that Obama is not showing up for the Black State of the Union address. I am all for Obama but I still don’t understand why he can’t take two or three hours of his time to attend! Let’s not forget that he also declined last year.

I don’t have a problem with him not showing up. He’s campaigning in 2 tight and important primaries. Plus, he’s already proved that he has support from African-Americans. He doesn’t need Tavis Smiley’s approval.

Tavis just want someone to kiss his behind.Like Obama said, he is for ALL people not just one people.Black people need to stop thinking everything is about them.Tavis does not stand for the Black Union. If Tavis can’t have his way it’s no way.Sounds a bit childish. He can have the discussion without the candidates. He wants his resume to be filled, shooot I do too.
