What To Watch

Black Dynamite (October 16, 2009 – limited release)

Michael Jai White, Arsenio Hall and Tommy Davidson star in this action/comedy tale of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. IMDB says, “The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the ‘Honky House’.”

The Messenger (11/13/09 – limited release)

Ben Foster, Eamonn Walker, Woody Harrelson and YaYa DaCosta are featured in this dramatic tale of an American soldier who struggles with an ethical dilemma when he becomes involved with a widow of a fallen officer.

Women in Trouble (11/13/09 – limited release)

Garcelle Beauvais fans stand up! She co-stars in this smart, sexy comedy about “a serpentine day in the life of ten seemingly disparate women: a porn star, a flight attendant, a psychiatrist, a masseuse, a bartender, a pair of call girls, etc. All of them with one crucial thing in common. Avatar 12/18/09

Avatar is set during the 22nd century on a small moon called Pandora, where the native inhabitants the Na’vi are forced to share their world with humans. Why Did I Get Married Too 4/2/10

The crew is back for the sequel to Tyler Perry’s 2007 hit movie about 4 couples overcoming with various obstacles as a result of revelations made during their annual couples retreat. Janet Jackson, Tyler Perry, Michael Jai White, Richard T Jones, and the whole gang return to explore the question of marriage.

Salt 7/23/10

Angelina Jolie is Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. When she is accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy, Salt goes on the run to clear her name and ultimately prove she is a patriot. Using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative, she must elude capture and protect her husband or the world’s most powerful forces will erase any trace of her existence. This fast paced action also stars Chiwetel Olijiofor, Liev Schreiber and newcomer, Yara Shahidi.

Untitled Flick starring Wanda & Shanene
