A small change in your resume like a profile rather than an objective could land you your next big gig. Interviewers want to know who you are, and a profile gives you an additional opportunity to give them what they want. The interviewer already knows that you want a job with their company, and that you desire a position in which you can utilize all of your talents, but a profile allows you more room to toot your own horn and show them why you would be the most fabulous choice for their company.
Here’s a sample profile:
I have three years of administrative experience in entertainment law. I have displayed strong problem solving and analytical abilities throughout my career. Moreover, I am a highly organized individual with proven typing skills of 85 WPM.
