Singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder has a new title on his resume: United Nations Messenger of Peace. Wonder — blind since birth — will promote U.N. ideals and activities with an emphasis on championing for people with disabilities, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said. When his installation announcement was briefly interrupted by a fire alarm in the U.N. Tiger Woods and his wife are holed up in their Florida mansion and undergoing intense marriage counseling, according to reports. As the scandal involving Woods’s alleged extramarital affairs continues to develop, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Woods, 33, and Nordegren, 29, are having marital counseling sessions – several times a day – in the privacy of their Windemere, Fla., mansion. Both of their mothers have been in contact, the paper reports, to help the couple save their marriage, and Tiger’s mom, Kultida Woods, is reportedly grateful that her son’s two children – Sam Alexis, 2, and Charlie Axel, born in February – are too young to realize what is going on.
