If somebody is psychologically unstable and they make an attempt on their life. It is safe to assume that they were not thinking about the love ones they would leave behind or that whatever pain they are experiencing is too great to even think about other people.

This is not a “selfish act.” In you are not of clear mind and body, you cannot make sound decisions.

Wow at the judgement…Sucide is a very serious thing and we don’t know what a person is feeling and is going through to judge them base on that, so boxing sucide as a “selfish” act isn’t helpful to the victim or their families. Sucide shouldn’t be viewed as a blame game but a serious and mental matter! People who think or has commit sucide are so far gone and in so much pain they are not thinking or think that their death will make the people they love lives better and easier when it is not true. How about instead of pointing fingers *which is always easier to do* pray for her health, state of mind and well being and for her child, family and friends who love her. Because if you ever knew someone who was a victim of sucide or ever thought of it, trust the last thing that is running through your mind is that they are selfish but “i need to get them help or I wish I could have done more”

  • i’m with Binky-you never know what someone’s been through/going through. more compassion less judgement would be ideal.
