Ahem, Professor Marc Lamont Hill that is. It’s usually inappropriate to have a crush on your professor, but since we don’t attend Columbia–most CLUTCH staffers are out of undergrad–we’re super excited to share the many reasons why this week’s Clutch Crush is brilliant scholar and political analyst Dr. Marc Lamont Hill. The Associate Professor of Education, Anthropology and African American studies at NYC’s Ivy, Hill also holds down the far left and make sense viewpoint at the conservative Fox News. This 31-year-old was also a regular commentator on Court TV, the ‘Star Jones Show’ and CNN. Hill is the author of Beats, Rhymes, and Classroom Life: Hip-Hop Pedagogy and the Politics of Identity, and if you’ve ever heard him speak, you know the brotha commands an audience making intricate scholarly theories practical to all people. He received his Ph.D from the University of Pennsylvania and his undergrad from Temple University. We digging Dr. Hill for his intellectual swag, commitment to the community and yes, his boyish charm!
