According to the annual USA Today-Gallup poll, President Barack Obama remains the most admired man in the United States for the third straight year.
Topping Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and TV host Oprah Winfrey for most admired woman for the ninth year in a row is Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. The poll, which was released on Monday, asked respondents to name which man or woman, living anywhere in the world, who they most admired. Rankings from one to ten were based on mentions and then calculated into percentages.
The 49-year-old Head of State has been the most-admired man since the 2008 election. Obama leads his predecessors with 22 percent, while George W. Bush had 5 percent and Bill Clinton had 4 percent.
