Two Oklahoma women found a good usage for their extra body weight—or so they thought.
Ailene Brown and Shmeco Thomas, ages 28 and 37 respectively, shoplifted over $2,600 worth of merchandize from T.J. Maxx. The women took four pairs of boots, three pairs of jeans, a wallet, and gloves, and tucked them under flabby areas of body fat to hide the items. It is reported that one of the women hid the boots in her bra.
“These two were actually concealing them in areas of their body where excess skin was, under their chest area and armpits, and the items were considerably large,” James Hamm, one of the arresting officers, said.
Brown had a knife in her purse that she used to remove security tags from the shoplifted items. Both women are facing felony charges.
