With the economy slowly getting its groove back, many of us are finding that our purse strings are unusually tight.

Despite the unemployment rate dropping to 8.8%, a two-year low, many us still are still feeling the sting of the economic downturn. Instead of just hoping that the economy will snap out of its funk, several of us have taken our passions and turned them into lucrative side-hustles.

Whether you’re trying to escape from the job from hell, or just pad your pockets, side hustles are the perfect way to earn extra cash doing things you love.

So grab your laptop, baking skills, creative abilities, needle and thread, camera, or anything else you’re great at and get to hustlin’. Because the road to financial freedom may be as easy as tapping into what truly makes you happy.

Do you have a side hustle? If so, share it with us!
