We’re thrilled to learn that acclaimed fashion and accessories brand, Suno, is launching an e-commerce site at sunony.com.
The brainchild of Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty, the Kenyan-based brand has developed a huge following in only three years due to its exuberant designs and responsible approach to Fashion. The company employs fair-trade practices and is dedicated to helping bring about positive change and growth in Kenya, where 70% of the collection is produced.
The e-commerce site, created in collaboration with interactive design studio, designmemory, is the latest step in their meteoric rise, offering the full collection and additional pieces exclusively sold on the internet.
While the brand is synonymous with bold, vibrant color and eye-catching prints, the site is conversely minimalist and manageable. “We don’t really want to re-invent the wheel entirely,” said Osterweis. “It’s going to look very clean and people are going to be able to see the clothing better than a lot of other websites.”
The new site also sets itself apart from “other websites” by offering more than just clothes. Literature like The Baron in the Trees by Italo Calvino, photography books by Angela Fisher and a playlist made by Osterweis himself will also be featured.
