Name: Nyasha Matonhodze

Age: 16

Height: 5’11″

Measurements: 31-25-35

Agency: Elite Model Management in London

Where We’ve Seen Her: The Zimbabwe-born beauty made headlines when she was tapped to be the face of luxury brand, Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2011 campaign. But we’ve had our eye on since her feature in Wonderland Magazine and her brilliant shoot for Giles Deacon’s pre-Fall 2011 lookbook. Discovered less than a year ago, Matonhodze has already walked for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rachel Roy, Louise Gray, Jonathan Saunders, Emanuel Ungaro, Louis Vuitton and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. She has also appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, i-D Magazine and Teen Vogue.

Why We Love Her: We think her statuesque height is commendable but her doe-eyes, swan-like neck and chiseled bone structure are even more stunning.

Random Fact: Though she was always told that she should model, Matonhodze wasn’t seriously interested in modeling until she saw an episode of “America’s Next Top Model.”

Her Words:

“If you’re not strong-minded, modeling can knock your confidence quite harshly. Every day you’re judged on your look, and more so today you’re judged on your personality. With that said, a lot of us are 15 or 16 years old, so some girls could really take the criticism personally. What we have to understand is that there’s not something wrong with us per se, we just aren’t a right fit with the client.” (as told to The Cut Blog).
