With Summer just around the corner, we are all searching for bright colors to add to both our closets and cosmetics cases. Urban Decay has just released its newest collection, RollerGirl which channels 1970’s chic with eye-popping shades that scream disco queen.

When we think of the 1970’s, glamorous images of Pat Cleveland and Diana Ross come to mind and the RollerGirl collection would be perfect for those sultry beauties. It features a nail kit and eyeshadow palette. The nail kit features six must-have shades for the season with names like Miss T, Superfreak and Love Train, putting us in the mood for 1970’s glitz. The eyeshadow palette features four shadows, a glide-on eye pencil and a lipgloss. It is perfect for beauty on-the-go and features more neutral tones, with one splash of color in the Woodstock shade which is hot pink.

As you can see on the model, the RollerGirl shades look great on brown skin and with so few beauty brands featuring black models as well as catering to the needs of our complexions, we have to give kudos to Urban Decay for creating a collection that looks great on every skintone.

The RollerGirl collection retails for $28-$32. Visit www.urbandecay.com to purchase.

hmmm. I’m a big fan of UD Palettes(love Naked and Book of shadows vol. 3) but not this RollerGirl one. It has three neutral colors that the Naked palette has and then this pink that doesn’t really go with the other colors. I’ll pass.
