After making a somewhat triumphant comeback last year, ‘the voice,’ Whitney Houston, has reportedly checked herself back into rehab.
According to People, Houston recently entered an outpatient program to keep herself in check.
“Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” her rep told People in a statement. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”
It’s no secret, that Whitney has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for years. She first entered rehab in 2004, after her infamous “crack is wack” interview with Diane Sawyer. Back then, Whitney admitted she partied “a lot,” but knew when to call it quits.
“I partied a lot. Trust me: I partied my tail off.” Houston told Diane Sawyer. “You get to a point where you know the party’s over.
Apparently, Whitney once again realized the party was over and she needed to get herself back on track. We wish her luck!
