Though Cynthia Bailey is currently best known for her role on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was a model long before that, strutting on the catwalks in countries all over the globe. She is capitalizing on her new fame and success by opening her very own fashion school, The Bailey Agency.

Blogger Tami Reed of Talking With Tami attended the launch party of the new school with the rest of the Housewives cast, designer Mychael Knight and many more.

At the school, intense six-week long courses will be given on subjects including improving your runway walk, etiquette, posing, photography, make-up, production and so much more. Cynthia’s colleague, Marcus Jackson of CALIBER Enterprises (a fashion, event and talent management consulting company) will also be teaching classes.

good move for her. I’m sure the school will be a success

It sounds interesting. However, it probably will not make anyone a model. Scouts usually find young girls in obsure places.

  • I think this is perfect for her. She is a good model and has credibility and work behind her name. I think it will be successful. There are plus size modeling academy’s as well. A scout doesn’t necessairly have to go to her school to find what they are looking for, but an agency with dough could easily send their models to her school who made need a little work. If there are runway coaches like Miss J then surely a school for modeling would be just as great especially from a experienced model.

    Good look Cynthia!
