Ever since coming out of his glass-doored closet, Latin heartthrob Ricky Martin has been more visible than he had been for years. The “Living La Vida Loca” singer has just signed to shill M.A.C.’s Viva Glam lip collection alongside Nicki Minaj, who previously collaborated with the makeup brand for a “Pink Friday” lipstick last year. The duo will replace Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga in a 2012 ad campaign for the line. Former Viva Glam spokespeople include Missy Elliot, Boy George, Lisa Marie Pressley, Mary J. Blige and, um, Lil’ Kim. We hope the Queen Bee remembers that all proceeds from the line are donated to the fight against HIV and AIDS and that using Nicki is a smart business move before firing some sort of tirade against MAC.
