Rihanna is giving a big middle-finger to all her haters. This week, the Bajan singer scored her 11th number 1 song with her club banger, ‘We Found Love.

Despite the controversy and people predicting her demise, Rihanna became just the seventh artist in Bilboard’s 53-year history to have 11 number one hits on the Hot 100 chart. Rihanna passed Stevie Wonder and Janet Jackson who have each had 10 number one hits, and joins the Beatles (20), Mariah Carey (18), Michael Jackson (13), Madonna (12), the Supremes (12) and Whitney Houston (11).

‘We Found Love’ appears on Rihanna’s forthcoming album, ‘Talk That Talk’ due out November 21.

@ isolde Before you take your Rihanna stannery even further, let’s consider the facts here:

One: What does she really have to offer music other than disposable pop records? It sure isn’t her voice (which is rail thin and often off key), or her songwriting (most songs she never wrote).

Two: What is her musical legacy going to be- outside of being Chris Brown’s “sparring partner”

Three: As of right now, she is the cash cow at The Island Def Jam Music Group (second only to Justin Bieber), but how many people are going to remember her ten- or even fifteen years down the road…that is, if she’s going to be around that long?
