With a new baby most likely on the way any moment now, the lawsuit against Jay-Z by the Workers Compensation Board of New York may not top the list of priorities for the father-to-be. According to the suit, the hip hop mogul failed to pay workers comp. Insurance for 3 months in 2009, which allegedly covered the benefits of the rappers domestic staff, such as maids, drivers, cooks, and the sort.

Although the lapse was only for 3 months, Jay-Z was fined $18,000 and has yet to pay up. However, according to TMZ, a source close to the Hov said that the sizeable fine is the result of a clerical error, which is in the process of being resolved.
