Starting a fashion line can either lead to instant failure or to continuous success. When you have the right business plan, listen to your audience, and your designs are always on trend, your fashion line could last for decades.
Back in 2000, Nicole Fisher established her women’s wear brand, NIC*FISH while attending the prestigious F.I.T in New York. Nicole’s timeless clothes have been displayed on musicians like Res and Esthero. She has created a diverse clientele that range from everyday women to entertainers. Her collections are always edgy, body conscious, and interchangeable from day to night.
The 2012-2013 collection is composed of colorful jersey separates that can be worn alone or layered. Each piece provides numerous ways to mix and match. The designer of NIC*FISH was influenced by artist Gustav Klimt, icon Frida Kalho, artist Matisse, Korean traditional grab, Thai fisherman pants, and 70s glam. Four new garments were added to the collection including the NIC FISH Wrap Pencil Skirt, NIC FISH Wrap Maxi, NIC FISH Wrap Skinny Pant, and NIC FISH Wrap Trouser.
This is a contemporary fashion line that is comfortable, refined, and trendy all at the same time. The longevity of this fashion label is something to admire. With each new collection, NIC*FISH continues to reinvent their clothing while staying true to their customer’s style.
