It’s time to accessorize those wrists with some sleek cuffs. The heroine style bracelet is making a comeback. Of course, many trends have had past lives and cuffs are no different. Icons from Chaka Khan to Erykah Badu have rocked their cuffs as a part of their signature style.

Before these icons made a fashion statement with cuffs, women and men in ancient Greece, Egypt and Africa had to have them.

You can wear one cuff or two cuffs to add some rocker chic to any outfit. Cuffs come in a variety of styles like the classic gold version to a textured silver version.

On the spring 2012 runways, designers created thin, chunky or knotted wire styles in metals and smooth wood finishes.

Alexis Bittar’s Miss Havisham Collection features a Gold Sputnik Cuff with colorful stones set in gold. Lacoste has cuffs made from a colokblock resin. Marni used recycled vinyl to create a handmade cuff.

One of our favorite jewelry designers, Nyne Lyves Jewelry has created a modern take on classic gold cuffs in her latest collection.

You can pair cuffs with spring florals, neons, colorblocking or pastels. There are geometric shaped cuffs in electric colors, oversized floral embellished cuffs and cuffs made from various fabrics.

Wear cuffs with other pieces such as cocktail ring on the opposite hand to make your look more balance. Also, these bracelets can be work- friendly.

These bracelets add a great touch of style and edge to any minimal or simple clothing. Cuff bracelets complement clothing with bold prints and colors. If you want some stylish symmetry with impact, you will love cuffs.

Would you rock a cuff or two?
