Nothing completes an outfit like a bad ass pair of shoes. From Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, to YSL and Manolo Blahnik, designer shoes are definitely a fashionistas best friend. But the reality is many of us can’t afford the fancy footwear our hearts desire, or at least we can’t afford as many pairs as we would like. I mean come on, as hot as Kanye West’s new shoe is, do any of us really have $6,000 to drop…on a shoe?

I’m not a big shoe person (I prefer Jordans myself…sue me!), but I do own a pair or two of designer shoes that I managed to catch at a sale. Some of my friends on the other hand have done everything short of selling their first born to Rumpelstiltskin for a pair of designer heels and will tell you that they have no regrets.

Either way, there is no doubt that shoes make the outfit; you can’t exactly go out to the club barefoot. The only real question is, whether those shoes need to be designer.

Do you own designer shoes? If not, do you plan to buy a pair? What’s your favorite designer shoe?

I love em all. I own a few. I have a soft spot for CLs.

    Some but I hate Louboutins!

Does JS by Jessica Simpson count? Seriously I am a shoe junkie, but I refuse to go into debt over footwear. Some of the more expensive shoes are gorgeous but best believe if I can find a good knockoff or imitation for less, I’m going for it. Not cheap, just realistic for my lifestyle.

No, I buy nice shoes, but I cannot afford to spend more than 100 dollars on one pair, if that much.
