One of our fave makeup obsessions, M.A.C. Cosmetics, puts a spin on their upcoming collection by letting us – the consumers – choose the products! But here’s the twist – the selection features some of the brand’s top-selling colors from previous collections that have long since been discontinued. Ughhhhh, dontcha just hate when that happens?

The Fall 2012 M.A.C by Request line allows fans to vote via Facebook for their favorite shades; there is a range of 18 discontinued eye shadow, lipstick, and lip glosses to choose from. The polls go live today, March 12th, and will remain open until the 30th of the month, when the top three chosen shades in each category will be announced. The winning 9 products will then come back as limited edition (it gets better…) online exclusives (ironic, huh?) later on in the year! How exciting is that?!

Here’s the color lineup:

LIPSTICK

3N (January 2008)
Moxie (September 1999)
Candy Yum Yum (April 2011)
Shitaki (March 2001)
Rocker (Red) (Fall 1999)

  • i like the idea of it all but three products from each category? i think that sucks, i mean there’s a reason they were faves and coveted so much, why not bring them all back MAC??
