Feds move weakens Arizona’s ability to enforce remaining SB 1070 provision – The Supreme Court ruled on Arizona’s controversial immigration law today and struck down three of the four provisions. The court upheld the “paper’s please” law, which allows law enforcement officers to pull over suspected illegal immigrants and ask them to prove they are citizens or legal residents, but said it is open to reviewing the law later. {Arizona Daily Star}

Court: No automatic life without parole for juvenilesThe Supreme Court also handed down another set of rulings today, calling it unconstitutional to sentence juvenile offenders life in prison without the possibility of parole. {USA Today}
