“Sunscreen? I don’t need that!” Unfortunately, this is a myth many women of color still believe today. Although it is assumed darker pigments are immune to the harmful UV rays of the sun, this is only partially true, as we’ve reported before. Here are three reasons everyone should use SPF.

    that chick is hella GORGEOUS!!!

My homegirl and I just got sent some sunscreen. Mine is already in the bin. I don’t need it. Been burnt up and roasted in the motherland, and still alive.

i’d rather you all find and recommend sunscreens that don’t look ashy on black people. that would be more helpful considering that most of us have already heard that we should use sunscreen as well as our light skinned counterparts.

I have used sunscreen without looking ashy. Usually in the summer I get Skin So Soft from avon that has an SPF of 30 as well as being a bug repellent. I live in the south. So…yeah. Don’t want to get eaten alive by mosquitoes.
