We made it to another weekend, Clutchettes, and while this week may have been a giant success or a crushing failure (or somewhere in between), the most important thing you can do this weekend is regroup, adjust your plan, and try again.

Too often we go after our goals only once, and if we fail, we give up. But a fail is only a failure if you refuse to try again. This weekend, take a few moments to consider where you are in your life, where you’d like to go, and what you can do to get there.

In the words of Aaliya, “Dust yourself off and try again.”

    Admitting to failure is hard, especially when other areas of your life seem to be easy-breezy, which makes trying again even harder. I think it’s the idea that “I might legitimately suck at this” that makes me hesitant to try again. The 1st failure could be a fluke–the 2nd: a harsh realization. But, alas, I’ve got another [hopeful] 60+ years left on this earth… might as well spend my time trying to get it right. :)

    I usually skip over these words of wisdom, but I needed this reminder this weekend. I am [clumsily] trying again at a very tough fail. I hope I come out on top.
