“Yours is the energy that makes your world. There are no limitations to the self except those you believe in.” – Jane Roberts

What did Lauryn sing? “It could all be so simple, but you rather make it hard…”

Our lives are often like that. While we feel that sometimes the world is conspiring against us, our friends aren’t helping and our families cause us stress, underneath it all, how we feel about ourselves and what we think of our abilities dictates exactly where we’ll end up.

While I often say I’m capable of doing anything I put my mind to, if I’m honest with myself, I sometimes have my doubts. These doubts manifest themselves in fear. At times I’m afraid to take chances, afraid to chase these big, huge dreams because I don’t know exactly how they’ll turn out, and I’m afraid of failing, so sometimes I don’t even try.

But you know what? Fear is a lie. It’s just a way to keep us from doing what we really want to do.

So make a pact with yourself, Clutchettes. Even if you have doubts and are afraid, push that aside and believe you can be and do whatever your heart desires.

You owe it to yourself.

Happy Monday!
