In everyone’s life, a little glimmer of grey hair will eventually appear. In men, it’s sometimes considered “dashing”. In women, it’s often referred to as being “regal”. In Yesha’s life, it’s referred to as, “where the hell is my box of Clairol?” Thankfully I haven’t had too many strands of grey hair, but the ones I do have are quite noticeable in the front. Even if I didn’t have those strands, I’d still be a hair color fanatic. I like experimenting with color, especially when the seasons change. I had ombre hair before it became a popular thing. I just referred to it as an “oops” color. But then, there are those strands of grey hair that aren’t on your head. I know I’m not the only one with them. Well, let me rephrase that, I hope I’m not the only one.

A couple of years ago, I discovered my ‘greying love below’. Hell, I knew the hair on your head turns grey, but it never dawned on me that my vajayjay would turn grey as well, until that one day I saw a glimmer of grey. I can’t say that I panicked, but I was startled. My mother never told me about grey hair down there! Thankfully, I found it before my wax lady did. I called a friend of mine and I told her my life was coming to the end (yes, I was being very over dramatic, but well..that’s how I am sometimes). She asked what was wrong in her concerned voice. I told her what I discovered, and she said, “Wowwwwwwwwwww, yeah pretty much!”. We’re both over dramatic women, I didn’t expect anything less from her. The conversation then turned into a “I remember when I found my first grey pube”. Oversharing is our forte. It’s what bonds us.

As many of you know, you can find just about anything on the internet. And thanks to Oprah’s “We Tried It” section of her magazine, I discovered “Betty Beauty”! Beauty is a hair dying product for the pubic area! You can go from Jet Black to Fuchsia, or even carve out some pretty cool Halloween designs with their stencil package. I swear, there’s a solution for just about everything nowadays. Now, I guess the hard part is trying to figure out what color I want to use. Decisions, decisions.

Would you ever consider using a product like Betty Beauty for the novelty aspect of it?

Almost died when I saw a gray hair “there”. Call it denial, but it never dawned on me that gray hair on my hair would translate to gray hair anyplace else. Excuse me for not posting anything else, but it’s been a few years since my discovery and I’m still trying to cope…LOL
