Nicki Minaj

She’s already made herself a household name with her rap-to-mainstream music career, American Idol gig and many business deals and endorsements, like it or not, Nicki Minaj is here to stay. Now, Miss Nic is taking her brand to new heights with a solo deal with MAC Cosmetics.

Previously, she and singer Ricky Martin were repping the makeup giant’s Viva Glam collection, but this time the pink-loving artist is going solo, launching a limited edition pastel lavender shade, Viva Glam Nicki 2 Pastel lavender pink lipstick and lipglass.

Every cent of the selling price goes toward helping women, men and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and available at all M·A·C locations February 9, 2013.

And to go with Nicki’s mainstream power move, we’ve done some (hard) searching for the Nickster’s most everyday makeup looks. Well, as everyday as the sassy rapper can be … Note: She doesn’t stray far from a pink lip.

I definitely am NOT a Nicki Minaj fan, and can’t respect or relate to her music. However, I can respect someone who’s trying to hustle. So I am not mad that she’s stretching her fifteen minutes as close to an hour as she can. With that said, this make up line is not for me, as the shades would not look good against my dark skin. I would never feel comfortable rocking some of these ultra light shades, but to each his own.

  • Really? Her make-up line isn’t going to include all that bleach she’s been using on skin?
