Dear Damon Feldman (@hollywoodbox11),
You sir, are an asshole.
In an interview with The Source, Feldman said he had an “emotional” moment, which led him to posting the cancellation tweets, but technically it’s not cancelled:
I sent those tweets because I went through an emotional situation, I looked at my kids and I got emotional. I didn’t sleep for three days because I’m trying to figure out how this thing happened. As of right now, the fight is not canceled… Right now we’re in meetings as we talk. It all happened so fast; it became a worldwide story. I honestly didn’t know it would go as far as the White House and me being threatened. Zimmerman still wants to fight…
Feldman also told Philadelphia magazine that Alki David, a British billionaire who has partnered with Feldman to livestream the fight on a pay-per-view basis on the Internet, wants to move forward with the event. And get this, according to Alki, the fight would be an all out “Fight Club” bare knuckle, no holds barred type of fight.
You can’t make this stuff up.
