It seems like every few months Lauryn Hill pops up and makes us wonder if she’s really about tmake a comeback.

After a slew of sporadic shows, festival performances, and a pair of new songs (“Neurotic Society Compulsory Mix” and “Consumerism,”), Ms. Hill made her first TV appearance in years on Late Night with David Letterman.

L-Boogie hit the stage last Friday during Letterman’s “Beatles Week” and shared her interpretation of the pop classic “Something.” Backed by a full band, accompanied by her backup singers, and looking absolutely fly, Ms. Hill turned in a bluesy performance that reminded folks that she’s still a force to be reckoned with.

I won’t call it a comeback, but I will say it was nice seeing Lauryn on TV again.

I will always love her music and I admire her as a musician. It makes me so nostalgic and makes me hate today’s leotard-clad “singers” even more.

Lauryn’s berry lip color is to die for. Nobody rocks a berry lip better than black women.

    • Sad to say, but it’s almost shocking to see a well known black female artist get on stage and perform fully clothed. We have fallen so far.

  • I love her rendition and i agree about leotard pop. I have been looking for this lip color since seeing her on Letterman.

I like the guitarist. I’m not a musician, but was Lauryn’s voice a little too low to hear over the music? Anyhoo i also hope this means she is getting everything together and doing well.

LOL @ Leotard pop. That’s funny.

I was watching the “Ex-factor” video last weekend regretting that there is no more new sound of her. No one one the music scene today has her charisma and her talent.
