A Kansas City cop is currently under investigation after being a racist jackass on Facebook. KCTV reported that Marc Catron is under internal review after he published two racist Facebook posts, which he assumed included a photo of Mike Brown.
In the photo Catron captured it by saying Brown was “a pillar of the Ferguson community”. But as with most racists, who have scientifically been proven to not be the sharpest tools in the shed, Catron actually posted a photo of Joda Cain. Cain was charged with killing his great-grandmother with a sledgehammer. But like Gawker said, ” If you’re a racist and all black men look alike to you, then, sure, it’s Michael Brown”.
“Right now with all the tension going on in Ferguson and there’s a lot of uncertainty right now and I feel like those pictures were demeaning and judgmental, very one-sided,” Sarah Jackson, one of the people who reported Catron’s posts to the department, told KCTV 5. “These are the people that serve and protect us. And more than one wrong doesn’t make a right.”
There’s no word on the type of punishment Catron could face, but the police department’s social media policy states that officers can’t post anything that can “negatively affect the public or professional perception of the department. Officers must also refrain from posting anything that would “ridicule, malign, disparage or otherwise express bias anything any race, any religion or other protected class of individuals.”
But killing unarmed people is just A-OK.
