It’s no surprise there is an outstanding difference between how men and women operate. Have no fear fellas, artist and feminist Elizabeth Simins is here to help uncomplicate women for a small fee.
Simins created a website that offers services that help men understand women. “The Womansplainer,” which is described as a “consulting for men who have better things to do than educate themselves about feminism,” give men the opportunity to ask anything ranging from rape to feminism. Some questions include: “Why is it ‘feminism’ and not ‘humanism’/’equalism’?” “Explain rape culture/ the patriarchy/ what ‘systemic’ means? “Why isn’t misandry hate speech?/ Why isn’t reverse racism real?”
Simins has a payment tier system. If you are a male who want Simins to conduct a basic Google search it will cost you $20. As she stated on her site, Simins will spend more than “10 minutes” googling your questions and will send helpful articles that will help you understand that particular subject. If you would like to have a Twitter dialogue it will cost you $50. For that price, you will have an opportunity to have a public Twitter conversation that will last longer than 15 minutes. Lastly, for $100 you can have a much more in-depth Twitter conversation that will last no longer than 40 minutes.
“The Womansplainer” seems like it can certainly be a helpful service for men. At minimum it’s an opportunity for men to find clarity with the help of a female.
Clutchettes, would you encourage your partner and/or male friends to seek help from the womansplainer?
