The biggest joke of the night came from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler during their opening monologue at the 2015 Golden Globes — and of course it was about Bill Cosby and his sexual assault allegations.

Check out the joke below:

“In Into the Woods, Cinderella runs from her prince, Rapunzel is thrown from a tower for her prince, and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby,” Poehler cracked.

“I don’t know if you saw this on the news today, but Bill Cosby has finally spoken out about the allegations against him,” Fey added. “Cosby admitted to a reporter [doing a Cosby impression] ‘I put the pills in the people! The people didn’t want the pills in them!’”

“That’s not right,” Poehler said. “It’s more like [Cosby impression]: ‘I got the pills in the bathroom and I put them in the people!’”

Here’s the reaction from the audience:

I don’t have a problem with this. It was funny. Amy Poehler is hilarious, and her impression of Cosby was the best. If he’s not going to jail for what he did, he deserves to be shamed.

“If he’s not going to jail for what he did, he deserves to be shamed.” You can say that again! Love this part of your comment. I disagree that Amy is funny though. They just strike me as women I would not want to be friends with. Mean girls. No coincidence that was the title of her film.

    • It’s not really him being shamed though…It’s more like “hey 12+ women who got raped, we know something horrible happened to you but we’re gonna joke about it and laugh anyway.”

I find it curious that Amy and Tina did not poke fun at Lena Dunham who admitted in her memoirs to have molested her younger sister. I don’t know, it seems Lena is a Hollywood darling that Amy and Tina never attack. Lena constantly gets a pass. I dismissed Tina a long time ago when she went on the Obama attack in support of Hillary in a way that was blatantly biased. Never found Tina nor Amy funny. Margaret Cho, on the other hand, is hilarious. So is Wanda Sykes. Two women comics who are much more deserving of Tina and Amy’s success, in my opinion.

@ K.C. : And she didn’t get the dragging for admitting her creepy stuff with her sister, but she was a kid when all that went down, so she got a pass. But then again Lena Dunham is a white woman.

Lena Dunham creeps me out in general. Also despise her show. Anyway, I hate when celebrities (black or white) get protected because of their celeb status. I have worked in the Film/TV industry for a long time. It is mind boggling what people are willing to let them get away with. No one would believe such stories unless they were working in the industry. It really makes you question humanity when you work with over-privileged, bratty, entitled, immoral, mean and just downright out of touch celebrities. However, every once in a while you meet a gem. I worked for one who still to this day remembers my birthday. He doesn’t even have to but does. Impressive.
