The decomposed body of a missing New Jersey woman has been found in the suburbs of Maryland. Erica Crippen went missing from Mount Laurel, NJ two months ago, and authorities have charged her husband, Kyle Crosby with murder. Crippen’s body was found with an electrical cord wrapped around it and duct tape was covering her face and nose.
Crosby has been in jail since January after police discovered strange GPS locations, which led them to the Sykesville location.
The couple lived in Mount Laurel with their infant daughter and Crippen’s seven-year-old daughter from a prior relationship. Crosby’s 67-year-old mother was also charged with hindering and tampering with physical evidence. Authorities believe she deleted incriminating text messages her son sent her on the day of the murder.
According to Crippen’s family, Crosby was on a drug binge during the time of the murder, and even resorted to selling some of Crippen’s clothing for drug money.
