Dame Dash recently sat down to do an interview with The Breakfast Club and even though there was a bit of incoherent rambling and musings about yesteryear, Dash actually had a few good points when it comes to going into business for yourself, rather than working for someone else.
When it came to business, Dash stated that, “Jobs are for lazy people who don’t want to invest in themselves.”
And he may have a point there. Going to work at a 9-to-5 is an easy thing to do. But actually throwing caution to the wind and starting your own business not only takes ambition, but also sacrifice.
“You’re only the boss if you put up your own money. If you don’t put up your own money…I don’t care how much they offer you, you’re nothing but a supervisor. It’s not yours,” Dash stated.
So many people want to walk around acting like they’re the boss at work, but when you work for someone else, are you really?
