By now, you’ve probably heard the great news that Harriet Tubman is a top contender for the newest face to grace the U.S. $20 bill thanks to tireless efforts by the Women On 20s grassroots campaign.

Using the basis that U.S. currency has been largely white and male dominated since it’s existence as a necessity for the change, the group launched an online survey asking participants to vote on which woman they’d like to see replace former president Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill. Not only did the online campaign grab the attention of over 600,000 voters, it also saw Ms. Tubman as the winner in the end.

But, where there’s a will, there’s a Raven-Symone.

Known for her colorful commentary as of late, Raven weighed in with her thoughts on Harriet Tubman possibly becoming the newest face of the $20 bill during today’s episode of The View, and she had this to say:

“No offense to everyone that’s going to be mad at me for saying this, I don’t like that idea. I think we need to move a little bit forward. Let me just preference that I understand…trust me I was taught…I am in that culture.”

Can somebody get this child a hobby for the summer…..quickly?
