Remember that one guy you dated who just couldn’t get over the fact that things didn’t go any further than a winter season worth of cuffing so he transformed into the bitter ex. Well, A$AP Rocky is THAT guy.

In a song off of his recently released Long.Live.A$AP, the Harlem-born rapper held no punches when he detailed a sexual encounter between himself and pop singer Rita Ora that didn’t end as he’d hoped. And that’s putting it mildly. Most of us didn’t even know that A$AP and Rita were ever a thing in the first place, but it turns out that they did indeed have a moment in time and the butt-hurt fashionisto just couldn’t let their love affair go without name dropping Rita in the worst way with these vulgarly vivid lyrics from his latest track titled “Better Things.”

I swear that b*tch Rita Ora got a big mouth
Next time I see her, might curse the b*tch out
Kicked the b*tch out once cause she b*tched out
Spit my kids out, j*zzed up all in her mouth
And made the b*tch bounce

BBC Radio personality Annie Mac was quick to put A$AP on the spot about his backhanded shout out to Rita in a recent interview and he had this to say in response:

“I just want to clarify, this isn’t me saying: ‘People don’t go listen to Rita Ora, or she’s an ugly person, or nothing’.

I’m not saying she’s a terrible person, I’m just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn’t supposed to do, she had a big mouth.”

So not only did you break the unspoken cardinal bedroom rule of keeping your mouth shut, you also admitted to cheating on your girlfriend with Rita. Way to go, A$AP. Regardless of what Rita Ora did or didn’t do with A$AP behind closed doors or how things ended between them, it’s never admirable to detail a sexual encounter for all to hear, especially when both parties involved moved on to other relationships and the repercussions of such a selfish broadcast now stand to affect more than just the two people in the middle of the mess. This whole thing sheds a very bright light on why Chanel and A$AP decided to call it quits earlier this year though, doesn’t it?

Most music fans are well aware that rappers detailing their intimate affairs on wax is nothing new, but the overall tone of these lyrics combined with A$AP’s history of saying ridiculously offensive things regarding women in and out of the studio (remember the “dark skinned women shouldn’t wear red lipstick” comment from a few years ago?) most certainly propels this round of disrespect to another level. Add that to the fact that slut-shaming in all and any forms has somehow become a popular trend among men looking to publicly humiliate women on their radar for various reasons and Harlem, we have a problem.

And for all of the guys screaming “feminist overload” or “she sleeps around anyway!” as we of the female variety continue to drag A$AP for his poor choice of wording, would it be so little of a problem if a veteran rapper who had a fling with your mother, aunt or older sister back in the day decided to go all emo a**hole about it on a song?

Yeah, we didn’t think so.

If my memory serves me right Rita Ora was with Kim Kardashian’s brother and he did the same thing to her “slut shamed” her. Rita Ora is a loser magnet. She might want to do some self reflection on why she attracts losers.
