Against all odds, Donald Trump is winning over Republicans. While many thought the real estate magnate’s campaign would have crashed and burned by now, Trump has steadily increased his lead over established Republicans like former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Though many Conservatives believe Trump will eventually abandon his bid for the White House, his latest endorsement may do more harm than good.

According to former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke, Trump is his guy.

“Although we can’t trust him to do what he says, the other Republican candidates won’t even say what he says,” Duke said during a radio interview.

Apparently Duke loves Trump’s stance on immigration and his willingness to disparage undocumented immigrants by calling them rapists and criminals.

“He’s certainly the best of the lot. And he’s certainly somebody that we should get behind in terms, ya know, raising the image of this thing,” Duke explained.

When asked what he thought of Duke’s endorsement, Trump answered in true Trump fashion.

“I don’t need his endorsement,” the businessman said. “I certainly wouldn’t want his endorsement.”

In case you were wondering who Trump would like to get on #TeamTrump, he added: “I don’t need anyone’s endorsement.”

One reason Trump may not want Duke’s endorsement is he’ll need to win over voters of color if he wants to have a serious shot at the White House.

Despite asserting that he’s popular with Hispanic and Black voters, a recent poll found 92 percent of Black respondents said Trump doesn’t care “about the needs and problems of people like you.” When asked if they’d pick Trump over Hillary Clinton, only three percent said they’d vote for the reality TV star. When pitted against Vice President Joe Biden the number dipped to just two percent.

Though Trump says he doesn’t want or need Duke’s endorsement, it looks like it wouldn’t hurt him since he’s already been written off by Black voters.

You don’t say, Clutch. As the proverbial saying goes, “…and water is wet.” LOL. I’m not at all surprised that this arrogant, wig-wearing nat would get the vote of White supremacists.

    • I’m not surprised either. David Duke supports him. He talks about the “silent majority.” We heard this rhetoric from Nixon too. His militarist language on foreign policy makes him in league with the neo-conservatives too.

    • Noirluv45

Ugh! His arrogance and White supremacy are blinding. It’s a frightening thought to think about his being our president.

    • He is not coded with his language or his agenda (which deals with the agenda of white supremacy). He is arrogant and he loves to disrespect people. He wants to be part of a pro-neo con rally supporting militarism.

    • Mary Burrell

I think his ugly language mirrors much of the dominant culture in America.

    • Exactly. Many people in America refuse to accept the truth that dignity, egalitarianism, and justice must exist in the world.

    • Mary Burrell

That’s what i have been thinking this disease could actually become president.

  • Mary Burrell

God help us if he becomes the POTUS.

    • *NmySkynn70*

i truly don’t think he’s cut out for it, or truly wants it. That is one job that he won’t be cut out for. I think this is all fun for him, getting attention & getting a rise out of the GOP (extreme right members of the GOP). He has no plan for the country other than what he will do to illegals. Thus far, all he’s done is be arrogant, rude, condescending & quite disrespectful to women and minorities. I don’t think he stands a chance as POTUS.

    • I think he loves the attention too. He loves to stir up controversy. He is clear about his disdain for people of color and women who disagrees with him. He has refused to advocate federal prosecutions of crooked cops who abuse the human rights of black people. He refuses to support living wages and to repudiate his anti-women statements too. His supporters include many white supremacists. His arrogance is blatantly apparent.

    • *NmySkynn70*

well said; he’s wealthy, he could care less about the struggling middle/lower class families of this land and what they face daily.

    • Exactly. He fails to outline that much of the problems in America have to do with structural economic and racial oppression. So, there should be a policy of building up jobs in using a diversity of methods (like a tax on Wall Street speculators, investments in infrastructure development, a higher minimum wage, cutting unfair corporate loopholes, fighting for a single payer health care system, etc.). The lives of the poor and middle class families matter.

    • *NmySkynn70*

Agreed. As long as he and his family are living in their ivory tower(s), the rest of the “little people” are of no concern to him. He’s too busy being a pompoused arse-hole who continually disrespects anyone that doesn’t bow down to him or anyone who challenges him.

  • Mary Burrell

And he makes incendiary comments about Latinos and i can imagine what he thinks of black people.

    • Chazz A

He was responsible for discrimination and violation of the FHA in NYC in the 70s and early 80s. A reporter once quoted trump as allegedly saying
“the only way to get rid of the riff raff is to raise the tax base of the target investment area”.

  • Chazz A

Trump is a wolf in wolf’s clothing and he makes no bones about his position on non-whites. I won’t slam Trump this time as I have done on other forums (I have troll-fighting fatigue)
I will say that David Grand Wizard Duke (sounds like a comic book character) and his white supremacist clones, lower and middle class whites and sleep-walking black people that support Trump will be left on the outside of the elite’s billionaire club because the corporate and banker elites don’t give a damn about the 99!
On a side note, Charles Koch has estimated an investment of nearly one billion dollars in the up coming 2016 Presidential election or as I call it SELection.

  • Well they did say that racist’s have lower IQ’s soo…..
