EBONY just unveiled the cover of its November issue and it’s bold!

Dubbed “The Family Issue(s),” this month’s feature will explore the legacy of the Cosby Show and whether or not it can be salvaged in the wake of the dozens of rape allegations levied against Bill Cosby.

“Nearly two decades after Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s report on Black life in America and in the midst of President Ronald Reagan’s ‘war on drugs,’ network honchos at NBC took a huge gamble: They put a strong, loving and successful Black family on prime-time television,” Goldie Taylor writes. “Now, some three decades later, as Cosby stands accused of sexually assaulting at least 40 women, Black America is left to grapple with his once-unimpeachable legacy. If Bill Cosby is finished, what does that mean for Cliff, and the rest of the tribe called Huxtable?”

The striking cover, and the fierce debate over Cosby, will no-doubt have folks talking and taking sides.

Over on Twitter, the cover has already sparked quite a reaction.

We cannot wait to get our hands on this issue when it hits newsstands and read Taylor’s take on the legacy of the Cosby Show, but until then, let us know what you think of the cover.

Is the November cover of EBONY bold or disrespectful? You be the judge!
