Oprah said it. And that settles it.
T.I. ruffled feathers when he let it know that he’s not here or a woman president. His sexist comments caught the ire of social media, and he eventually apologized. Or his PR person apologized. Many people also questioned what right did T.I. have to talk about voting, when he’s a felon. But actually, others pointed out that T.I does have a right to vote, as do all felons should.
On Wednesday, TMZ caught up with Oprah Winfrey and asked her what did she think about T.I.’s opinions on Hillary Clinton and the possibility of a woman president.
“Nobody said that, in this day and age,” Winfrey said. “Well, you know what I say to that… I want to say, ‘Honey child, hush your mouth. You don’t know what you’re talking about.’ That’s what I would say… I don’t buy it, you know, it’s not true. I think people just like to talk.”
See, even Momma Winfrey doesn’t think anyone could be so dumb to make comments as T.I., but you know what? I’m quite sure there are more men out there with T.I’s rationale.
After T.I. issued his apology, his wife Tiny came to his defense. Sort of.
“He just lives in the old ‘man takes care of woman,’ chivalry-type-thing,” she said. “He might’ve been thinking about me at the time.”
