More evidence that Taylor Swift is the (n)Ice Queen of the music biz comes from Toronto’s own, The Weeknd.

During an interview with Rolling Stone, Abel Tesfaye said when he first met the pop star she couldn’t stop “petting” his freeform locs…for fifteen minutes.

She was like, ‘I’ve been listening to ‘The Morning’ [from House of Balloons] for years — it’s one of my favorite songs ever!’ I mean, she might have just Googled it. But she seemed genuine.

But the whole time she was talking she was kind of, like, petting my hair? I think she was just drawn to it — she must have been a little gone off a few drinks.

I mean, it’s one thing to casually run your fingers through someone’s hair–which you still shouldn’t do without permission, btw–but stroking a stranger’s hair for fifteen minutes seems…excessive, and weird.

Maybe it’s just me, though. The Weeknd didn’t seem to mind.

Of course I’m not going to be like, ‘Hey, can you stop?’ I mean, it felt good! But when she started petting my hair, that’s when I was like, ‘I definitely need a drink.’

Yeah…I would need one too.

maybe he felt vulnerable at the time … it does happen to the toughest of souls. there are times when some will take advantage of circumstances when they feel it’s the right place and the right time to act …

I also feel that because she is Taylor Swift the super star that she feels she is entitled to get away with this. This
guy probably is in an awkward position because he’s on the same bill with her so there probably wasn’t much he could do.
