Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 9.28.57 AMThere’s no statute of limitations on clapping back and Solange just proved that when she revisited a three-year-old slight handed down by New York Times music critic Jon Caramanica on Twitter yesterday.

A new interview with Brandy is what jogged Solange’s memory of how, in 2013, she went on a Twitter rant about the dismissal of the singer’s contributions to R&B music upon the release of her latest album at the time, Two Eleven, which wasn’t well received.

Shortly after, Caramanica took it upon himself to suggest Solange was biting the hand that feeds her when she criticized the music industry back then, and to this day those words still don’t sit well with the outspoken artist and so she decided to let him and the world know in nine perfectly crafted tweets.

The end.

Oh, FYI, Jon Caramanica has ye to respond. But what could he really say to such a perfectly delivered read? Brandy, on the other hand, is quite satisfied with how her girl came through for her.

no matter the gender, male or female, black women or black man, only a fool will bite the hand that feed them.

    • WhyNot?

whites have been beating, lynching and murdering the hands that fed them for centuries…so apparently, they exemplify the ‘fools’ you speak of…
