The Kingdom of Wakanda might just be getting a high-profile resident. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is mulling over a starring role in Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther film.
The project isn’t due out until 2018, but the Black Panther made his on-screen debut in Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War blockbuster. The film, which has already grossed more than $700 million at the box office, includes some of the comic book franchise’s biggest stars.
While fans continue to flock to theaters to see Ironman, Captain America, and Antman battle it out, the Blerd community is excited about the debut of Black Panther.
Black comic book fans got even more to cheer about when news dropped that Nyong’o might be in the film alongside Panther lead Chadwick Boseman.
Although there’s no deets on what role she might play, fans have already started to speculate.
So other than Storm (which is a no) and Monica Lynne (which could be possible) could @Lupita_Nyongo be a new love interest for T'Challa?

We don’t really care WHAT role Lupita plays as long as she’s in the film!
