Patrice Brown went viral this week and was referred to as #TeacherBae, because of her…umm..assets. Everyone of course had different opinions about Brown’s choice of outfits for class. Some said it was clothing was too provocative. Others didn’t seem to mind the fact that Brown was as some said, “hot to trot”.
Brown not only caught social media’s attention, but also the Atlanta Public School system. APS issued a statement about Brown, her clothing and social media habits.
According to 11Alive, APS stated that Brown wasn’t actually a teacher, but a paraprofessional employed by the district and that she has been “given guidance regarding the APS Employee Dress Code, the use of social media, and Georgia Code of Ethics for educators, and she has been cooperative in addressing her presence on social media.”
Interestingly enough, a previous look Brown’s Instagram account shows that she’s been dressing in a similar manner for years, as a “paraprofessional” in Atlanta. One has to wonder if the school only took notice because of complaints from people who found her clothing unacceptable?
