Scott’s family says he was reading a book in his car, but police said he had a gun. The police were on the scene to serve a completely different man a warrant, and now people want to know why Scott is dead.

Scott’s daughter went on Facebook live after her father was killed.
The police alleges that Scott “got back out of the vehicle armed with a firearm and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers who subsequently fired their weapon striking the subject,” police said in a press release.
Protestors took to the streets Tuesday night, and police in riot gear were called to bring order.
