“We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign” — Hillary Clinton Campaign Spokesperson
CNN announced on Monday that they were parting ways with Donna Brazile amid the Hillary Clinton email leaks posted by Wikileaks. According to the hacked emails, Brazile shared questions for CNN-sponsored candidate events with people associated with Hillary Clinton’s campaign earlier this year.
The question was allegedly given to Brazile by Roland Martin, who recently questioned another writer’s journalistic ethics (the irony).
The material released Monday from the hacked file of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta revealed at least the second time that Brazile had communicated to Clinton aides about questions Hillary Clinton might be asked on the air.
“On October 14th, CNN accepted Donna Brazile’s resignation as a CNN contributor,” CNN spokeswoman Lauren Pratapas said. “CNN never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate.
