In case you missed blonde, right-wing, nut Tomi Lahren’s interview with Trevor Noah on the Daily Show, here’s is a quick recap: She got destroyed. Her destruction wasn’t attributed to poor interview skills, either. Matter-of-fact, quite to the contrary. Lahren is undeniably a rather well-spoken young woman. But that does not change the fact that her positions are wholly problematic, lack solid reasoning and are simply espoused to incite outrage and get clicks.
No part of the interview best demonstrates this point better than the moment where she could not respond to a question posed by Noah about the “right way” to protest, after Lahren expressed outrage over Colin Kaepernick’s decision to take a knee during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and oppression.
“What is the right way for a black person to get attention in America?” Trevor Noah asked The Blaze’s star host.
She tried her best to avoid the question, focusing instead on her initial point but Noah was relentless in his insistent that she actually confront the question.
“I asked you one question and that is ‘How should a black person bring up their grievances’? He posed again.
Of course she didn’t respond.
In any case, after bombing on The Daily Show, it seems that Lahren’s team pulled her interview with The Breakfast Club, at least according to Charlamagne The God.
Nevertheless, one thing Lahren has no intentions of doing is complaining about the fact that she looked the fool on national television.
“If I was a liberal snowflake I would complain,” she tweeted, “Instead I stand my ground & take it. 6 of 26 min interview aired.”
If I was a liberal snowflake I would complain @TheDailyShow wasn't "fair." Instead I stand my ground & take it. 6 of 26 min interview aired
